Author, Phil Earle, took Bootham School students through their paces in the art of writing novels.  The award winning author is well known in the children’s literature circuit, with works including ‘Being Billy’; set in a children’s care home, it won the ‘Amazing Book Award’.  Other titles include ‘Heroic’ which was shortlisted for the Booktrust Award.

Bootham School Librarian, Steven Oakden, said, “Phil’s works are highly regarded.  We have all leant a lot about writing techniques in a very hands-on session.”
